Can it be ordered online? What is the reason that its not available. My younger one refuses to eat any other butter…

Tri-Valley area increasingly has a large number of people who got to figure out the ‘commute’ aspect of their lives. Everyone dreads 680 during office commute hours; so some do very early, odd hours, and others choose car pools that help a bit, so does the variable toll lane. Many others have figured a way to only commute a couple or so days a week. Taking BART to the city has its own issues – parking, passes, you go standing unless you rush in at first Dublin/Pleasanton station. And then there are those lucky ones who commute to a job within this area; and best, who have no commute at all, i.e. they work from home.
Many companies are beginning to let their employees to work from home. There are many plus-es to it, and many negatives. That’s another story. One key aspect is the missing social set up: you don’t have people to meet and greet over coffee, lunch, on way to meetings, rest room, parking.
So this is a call to set up a local group to keep the social aspect alive. If you predominantly work from home, and would like to meet other people (in similar situation) over an occasional cup of coffee, or may be even over lunch, please reach out. We could probably meet over a monthly lunch, or take a coffee break someone centrally near Hacienda Crossings at around 3:00 PM (when the east coast starts going dead). The common thread would, obviously, be, that we all work from home! Any other ideas are totally welcome.

Hi, I am a resident of Dublin and wanted to warn people of TJ scam. TJ a.k.a Toutali Asekia or Toutali Esekia scammed me and 3 other people in same street. He has a golden tooth, gives very low estimates on backyard work, very good talker, starts work, does little concrete and disappears with money. He tells lot of lies, that his son has a surgery, is doing some work apon same street and so is cheap etc.
between the four of us in same street, he has scammed at least 20 thousand dollars.
beware of his smooth talk, there is also a complaint against him with dublin city police. He usually comes in a pick up truck which he bought recently and with his brother who has a beard and his brother in law. He has also cheated people in Alaska. he left his old pick up truck which police towed.

Hi, I am doing a cultural program for children teaching the values of ancient Indian culture . The curriculum focuses on Slokas, Bhajans, Epic stories, and the significance of Indian festivals with primary emphasis on nourishing the values of our culture. Little kids have short attention spans, and will wander off or start doing their own thing if we lose their attention. So I will break the class up into lots of little sections with slokas, stories and other fun activities. Come and Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights on Saturday, October 26th at Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. Join thousands of people in the only Diwali festival with spectacular fireworks and a laser show. Enjoy cultural programs, Ram-leela, a dazzling parade, animal rides, a petting zoo, delicious food and a live music concert.
Bay Area cities, including Cupertino and Hayward, held Diwali festivities earlier this month, and another celebration is scheduled for Friday in Sunnyvale. Last year, about 10,000 people attended the inaugural festival and a similar-size crowd is expected this time at the fairgrounds. Traditional food and drink will be available, as well as booths offering arts and crafts and animal rides. A parade will begin at 5 p.m. Bollywood pop singer Harjeet Mehndi will perform live in a concert beginning at 7 p.m. The evening will culminate in a fireworks show, starting at 8:30 p.m.
Each year, Diwali is observed sometime between mid-October and mid-November. This year, its main day of observance is Nov. 3.

Hello: We are looking for a full time nanny for our 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter. Our daughter is in school from noon to 4. Timings for the job would be 8:00 to 6 on weekdays.
Responsibilities would include:
– Feeding the kids breakfast in the morning and general play/park time for the 2 year old and 5 year old right next to home
– Getting the 5 year old to school at noon after lunch – school is a 5 min walk or 2 min car ride. Have to take the 2 year old along as well.
– Bath and nap for 2 year old in the afternoon between 1 and 3. Time for kids laundry and kids room clean up – pick up toys, fold kids clothes etc
– 5 year old daughter is back home from school at 4, give her a bath and snack and supervise some homework etc.
– Help in preparing dinner for kids before departure
– Prefer car and driving ability with good driving record. If not, then getting to work and back on time needs to be ensured as both parents work and commute to the peninsula – so timing is sensitive.
Our existing nanny is leaving soon as we have recently moved from San Francisco to Danville and the commute from SF to Danville is too much for her.
