Welcome to the Sahaj Samadhi Meditation Course! Many people have an interest in meditation and its benefits, but find that attempts to focus and concentrate the mind are difficult, if not impossible. What’s needed is a meditation that utilizes the natural tendencies of the mind rather than trying to subdue it.
During this course you’ll learn an ancient practice that allows the conscious mind to settle deeply into itself in a natural, effortless way. This meditation is enjoyable, relaxing, and simple. As the mind settles down it simply lets go of tension and stress and centers itself in the present moment. The meditation technique you’ll learn takes no concentration and the results are immediate. Sahaj means natural or effortless. Samadhi means that state of deep peace and rest that underlies all of our thought and activity — perfect balance.
Your course will include group classes as well as personal instruction, and sessions will include both experiential practice of the meditation technique and knowledge of the nature of the mind as it relates to practicing meditation.

I’m posting this for my husband, Saurabh. He is an avid Squash player and likes to play a couple of times a week, but sometimes work priorities/commute-time come in the way. We are not members of Club Sport San Ramon. We did the math and figured that a full membership would be wasteful, given his schedule.
