I do pick up of a student from Alameda Elementary School and then baby sit them at their home, on Positano Hwy near/ around Tramonti Dr.
Pick up timings M/T at 2pm, Rest of the days at 3 pm.

Car pool using app for guaranteed parking at Dublin BART

​Carpool commuters traveling by BART will have a new option for securing parking at the Dublin/Pleasanton station by the end of January. In a joint effort between BART, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Scoop Technologies, beginning next Monday, riders who carpool to the station and use the Scoop cellphone app will be guaranteed parking spots until 10 a.m. as part of a pilot program to better utilize parking spaces.
Commuters who wish to use the service can download the Scoop application and schedule a ride to the station by 9 p.m. the night before for morning service, or by noon for evening service.
Scoop will then notify users shortly after the deadline if they have found a match with one their 55,000 customers.
Users can utilize a variety of enhancements with the app, including paying for or receiving money for the carpool, paying for BART parking and indicating whether or not their vehicle is wheelchair-accessible.

Multicultural celebration in Pleasanton on Sat Jan 21

The Pleasanton Public Library will present a multicultural celebration at the Amador Theater, located at 1155 Santa Rita Road, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2 p.m.
Music from a variety of cultures will be featured in Pleasanton.
Sponsored by the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council and the Friends of the Pleasanton Library, the event will be a celebration of the many different cultures represented in Pleasanton. The festive event will feature the different song and dance traditions from each of the cultural groups.
According to Yu Tao, head of Adult and Literacy Services, the community has changed with 25% of residents coming from another country and 30% of people speaking a language other English at home. The Pleasanton Library wants to recognize and embrace the cultural diversity through providing materials in different languages and programs and activities which reflect the community.
As part of the multural culture focus, there is currently an Indian culture picture exhibition on display at the library, as well as many other library activities and events.

Over last year or so, as the user base of this site neared 2500, there were a few posts coming from the Tri-City area of Fremont, Newark, and Union City as well. That someone should set up a site for that area as well became a refrain I would hear again and again, in emails and discussions. So come January 2017, and we have created TriCityDesi.com, on the same pattern. Some posts have also been moved to this new site to seed it.

TriCityDesi.com is rooted in the success and usefulness of TriValleyDesi.com. The premise is the same: an area with a lot of Indians, but who are not connected well, so not able to help each other. No one can deny the benefits and use of a well-moderated message-board, but there is nothing stopping the community to air any kind of content. There are more than 150 different categories, and more are being continuously added.

A community site can only be as good as the participation it receives from the community. So please do reach out to your friends in the tri-city area. The new site will also get as good a moderation and user-support as this one. TriCityDesi.com is set up to be a totally separate site. New users, new posts, new ads. We believe in keeping it very local so that it can stay vibrant, and useful for the community.

with Transitioning to Elementary School on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the
Pleasanton Public Library, located at 400 Old Bernal Ave.
Parents and guardians who have children eligible for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten
during the 2017-18 school year are invited to a panel discussion about the shift from preschool to
elementary school. This workshop will provide information, tools and resources for families of young
students, ages 4 – 6. The panel will include teachers and parents from the Pleasanton Unified School
District. The district nurse will also be on hand to answer all your questions about vaccinations.
Families will get their questions answered about sleep and nutrition, preparing for homework, the
value of routines, and much more!

Hi, I am doing a cultural program for children teaching the values of ancient Indian culture. The curriculum focuses on various levels and will cover Slokas, Bhajans, Epic stories, and the significance of Indian festivals with primary emphasis on nourishing the values of our culture. Little kids have short attention spans, and will wander off or start doing their own thing if we lose their attention. So I will break the class up into lots of little sections with slokas, stories and other fun activities. I would like to take the opportunity to impart my knowledge and hence bring in awareness of our Indian culture through fun activities!

Hi, We are in Fountains at Emerald Park apartment. We have been staying here for 2 years and love this place which is 2 bed 2 bath. We are now looking to rent a bigger home. Our current lease expires on Nov 22nd 2017 and we need to break the lease.
Apartment is on the second floor, quite spacious with 1092 sq.ft, washer/dryer in unit,centralized conditioning with all other apartment amenities.
Anyone interested in taking up this apartment ??  They need to go through the leasing process anyways but if they successfully take this apartment for lease, I am offering them a 1500$ or 150$ per month off on 12 month lease you sign , whichever is less.
