The City of San Ramon’s Camp Central Program is in its 7th year of offering a flexible and convenient summer camp options. Camp Central fits into any San Ramon family! Do you need activities for your children this summer that are fun, active and foster learning? Are you looking for the convenience of an all-day program, or do you want to pick and choose based on a changing schedule? Camp Central is the answer to all these questions and more!
Camp Central offers 15-20 different camps each week include arts, dance, theater, science, engineering, academic, sports, and traditional day camps. Full day or half day programs with extended care are available. Try something new each week.
We have camps such as Adventure Club which is a traditional outdoor camp where campers play games, activities and crafts around a weekly theme. Some themes this year include superheroes, Minecraft, pirates and the Wild West. Emory Tate is an American International Master of chess. His FIDE rating is 2322 on the rating list, making him the 277th highest-rated player in the United States. Tate has earned a reputation as a creative and dangerous tactician on the U.S. chess circuit, where he has won about 80 tournament game against Grandmasters. Tate won the United states Armed Forces Championship five times. He is one of the highest-rated chess players.

Chess and Language Camp: Do you want your kids to have excellent problem solving and strategic planning skills? Come learn Chess from us!
Unlike the other schools, we only hire USCF Masters level instructors to teach the class to ensure an excellent learning experience. One of them are even 6 times National Champion!!!
Both left brain and right brain are important, so the program also includes:

Summer Music Workshop – by Gamakam
Great news to all music ehnthusiastics and learners, this summer please enhance the creative and cultural side of kids. Encourage them to learn one of the best forms of art, music, which has direct influence on their studies.
Summer music workshops are conducted by Gamakam(non profit organization) for kids of all ages above 6. Prior music knowledge is not required. Kids will be taught annamacharya sankeerthanas by Parupalli Sri Ranganath for 2 weeks. He is senior vocal artiste, Annamayya Project, TTD (TirumalaTirupati Devasthanam). He won great honors, awards and titles and released several popular albums. At the end of 2 week camp, one at Fremont and one at San Ramon, kids have an opportunity to participate in concert. Half Day: 9.00 a.m to 12.00 p.m – $110
