DanceUSADance is a brand new contest that takes the world of Bollywood music and dance to a whole new level.
The format of this regional dance competition contest is where most talented dancers will perform here at LasPositas College, Livermore on Sunday, 12th March 2017 (2:00 PM-5:00 PM). We are looking for childcare / daycare / nanny / nanny-share for our daughter starting in July 2017. She will be 3 months old at that time. We would like somewhere that is both nurturing and enriching.

Overnight sitter needed

Need to travel for work frequently and hence looking for an overnight sitter for my 11 yr old boy. We live in Pleasanton (near santa rita and las positas). Need help from 6 pm thru 9 am for one or two days every month. Pick up the kid from after school and keep him home, dinner is available in the fridge for you both, no need to cook or clean, just be in the house with him and then drop him off to school the next day at 8 am (9 am on wednesdays). My kid is independent and he  won’t  need any help from you. I just need a reliable, friendly person to be home with him and pick up and drop off.  You’ll have a bedroom for yourself to sleep in the night.
Since the help is only from evening to morning, you can still keep your day job and its a good way to make some extra money!!

Holi Festival Celebration at Bishop Ranch – Mar 24, 2017

The family-friendly, colorful festival of Holi will be celebrated right here at the Bishop Ranch 2600 front parking lot on Friday, March 24. This free event is expected to attract over 1,400 attendees this year (see pics from last year’s event).
Holi is an ancient festival from India that celebrates the beginning of spring. Participants throw brightly colored powdered pigments on each other as a way to commemorate the vibrant, abundant colors of springtime and to say farewell to the long winter.
Along with the traditional throwing of colors, there will be plenty of free activities for the family: face painting, henna tattoo artists, dance performances, and live music to enjoy while you grab dinner at one of the mobile gourmet food trucks. There is also plenty of free parking! Don’t forget to bring a set of old clothes (white works best), the family, and join to take part in this exciting family event.
