Vibrant Elementary Drawing (Grades 1-5) – Children will learn how to draw using Young Rembrandts step-by-step instruction and proven method that fosters increased patience, discipline and focus as well as a host of artistic skills such as art vocabulary and art history, along with expanded creativity, imagination and confidence. Young Rembrandts is based on an acclaimed, step-by-step drawing method that works hand-in-hand with our original, innovative art curriculum developed by a team of educators and artists. Our tiered lesson plans and multi-sensory approach to learning meet every child at their unique ability level.
Our curriculum is designed so a child can be enrolled from pre-school to sixth grade and never repeat a lesson. This allows our students to continually build skills and develop their personal style and creativity.

Part Time Work with Children at Young Rembrandts – East Bay, CA
Young Rembrandts is looking for mature, responsible adults with some artistic ability to join our team of talented people teaching drawing classes. No degree is necessary – just a love for children and art. We provide the training, curriculum, supplies and location. You provide the creativity, enthusiasm and fun.

Job Summary: Teach the Young Rembrandts drawing curriculum in a professional and engaging manner to pre-school and elementary school aged students in a classroom environment.

Required:
Must be available AFTER-SCHOOL (elementary) M-F on the days you are scheduled to teach (Weekend hours are also available)
Must be over 18 years old
Must have your own driver’s license and transportation
Must have all vaccines current and negative TB test results
Must be able to pass a DOJ background check
Must have cell phone and computer access-including email
Preferred:
Classroom experience with elementary or pre-school students
College level art/drawing classes

Must work at least 2 days a week and have reliable transportation.

Biking on East Bay trails

Are you interested in biking with us to form a South Asian Heart Center -East Bay group on a regular basis? We would be biking on only paved trails in the Bay Area. The start time will be at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings (weather permitting).
