SEF Holi 2017-March 11, Alameda County Fairgrounds

SEF is hosting its the 2nd Annual Holi (Festival of Colors) at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 from 11:00-3:00pm. The festival is kid friendly, has a super DJ with great music, will have food for purchase and lots of colors, including one free packet with admission.  The event consists of sharing the joy of Holi by sprinkling color powder on friends, family and anyone participating. Please bring friends and family to participate in the event and support a good cause.

Nanny needed in Pleasanton – 2:00PM – 7:00PM (M-F)

Hello – We are looking for a part-time nanny cum cook from 2:00 PM till 7:00PM Monday through Friday. We are in Pleasanton on Foothill Rd, so need someone who can drive.
Kids will be in school till 5:30PM. So work would involve cooking (daily for 4 people), cleaning the kitchen area, light housekeeping till 5:30 and then helping with the kids (feeding, giving a bath) till 7:00.
Looking for someone who is an expert in cooking and likes to cook, and who is very comfortable with young kids (2-year old and 5-year old). Please call 480-652-6135.

Indian Jazz Fusion Concert 3/25 in Dublin

Join in for an Indian Jazz Fusion concert Saturday, March 25, 6:00 PM at Dublin High Center for the Performing Arts and Education. It’s presented by City of Dublin Arts Space Grantee – East Bay Marathi Mandal, which hosts world-class musicians for the event. Discounted tickets for Dublin residents are available online for $20. Students discount tickets are $15. Regularly priced tickets are $25.
The show, Soul and Spice: An Indian Jazz Journey, features prolific and diverse saxophonist and composer George Brooks and Grammy-nominated classical Indian violinist Kala Ramneth.
Local young rising star musicians BaalVeena Preeti Tamhankar and Tabla Visharad Ashish Tare will also perform.
East Bay Marathi Mandal is a progressive, cultural non-profit organization which celebrates, promotes and preserves the rich Indian heritage by actively engaging the community. EBMM propagates this vision by organizing cultural and creative art events.
This program is part of the Dublin’s Arts Space Grant Pilot Program, where non-profit arts organizations apply to use public facilities free of charge to present arts programming for the public. For this program, discounted tickets of $20 are available to Dublin residents. Buy tickets here.

Spring Break Common core prep and Speech classes in Dublin

An opportunity for our elementary / middle schoolers to confide in themselves in approaching the upcoming Common Core Tests in April.
Shooting stars foundation is a non profit organization  started to support schools in India, this organization has been educating 6 students around the world.

High school students conduct Common Core and Speech programs for elementary and middle schoolers. High school students provide knacks and techniques of approaching / resolving problems, which gives the learners good level of confidence to take the tests.
