Spandana Spelling Bee 2016 Registration Open!
20th February 2016 (Saturday) at San Ramon, CA
Junior Category (1st-3rd grades)
Intermediate Category (4th-5th grades)
Senior Category (6th-8th grades) .
There will be 3 winners in each category and we will also announce winners in each grade. For more information, guidelines, registration, please visit http://www.spandana.org/spellingbee2016.html

10% of the registration fee will be given to your public schools/PTA if they support this event. Please ask your PTA to call the organizers.

Do your kids love to move to the beat of the music? Participants will have fun learning Bollywood Dance styles, all while getting health and developing a lifelong habit of exercising. In addition to Bollywood Dance, we will also incorporate Classical Indian Dance steps. Be it staying in touch with your own culture or exploring a new one, this class will give kids plenty to learn and exhibit. Moves are low impact, age appropriate, easy to learn, educational and fun! Participant’s confidence, stage presence and social skills will improve, with class culminating with a small performance.

I would be taking art classes this new year! I have been teaching for 2 years now and I have been taught art and painting. I consider art as an expression of our personality. It helps us to be who we are and defines us.
Slots are now AVAILABLE:
Monday: 7:00- 7:30 pm, 7:30- 8:00 pm
Tuesday: 4:00- 4:30 pm
Wednesday: 7:00-7:30 pm, 7:30- 8:00 pm
Thursday: 4:00-4:30 pm
Friday: 4:00-4:30 pm, 4:30-5:00 pm, 5:00-5:30 pm
Saturday: 9:30-10:00 am and 10:00 am- 10:30 am
Sunday: 9:30- 10:00 am and 10:00 am- 10:30 am

Charging per class: $10

Curriculum:
5-8 yrs.- structure drawing, introducing shapes,mosaics, circle projects, abstract painting, graffiti style, self portraits and A LOT MORE!
8-11 yrs. – face book, lichtenstein pop art, 2-D structures, perspective, patterns, introducing art history, watercolor and A LOT MORE!
12-15 yrs. – 3-D structures, portraits, pattern paintings, acrylic paintings, illustrations and A LOT MORE!

For those who are new to MPM, MPM is a well-sequenced math program designed around the concepts of Multi-Process and Multi-Model mathematics for K to 6 grade students. It helps students to develop their skills in problem solving and independent logical thinking.The program is in-line with Common core mathematics.
