I’ve some time on weekends and would like to explore starting a catering business which provides specialty Indian dishes which are not available in Indian restaurants here in the SF Bay area. While we do see many new restaurants spring up here, I find that some of the recipes and flavors which I have encountered while growing up are still not available.
I have a passion for cooking and many of these recipes have been handed down to me by Mom or relatives from India with an emphasis on food from Bangalore/Karnataka/Tamil Nadu/AP/Kerala/Maharashtra.
The dishes are prepared in small batches with a focus on nutritional value and cooked with the least amount of oil, salt or sugar without compromising the taste of the dish.
I’m thinking of starting with 1 dish per weekend and would be accepting orders for this Saturday Nov 2nd 2018. Orders will be ready for pickup by 11:30 am from my home in Pleasanton.
