Beginners Coding Peer Group for Middle Schoolers

Hi,
If your middle schooler is interested or would like to learn coding during summer vacation, here is a great opportunity!
I’m forming a peer group for middle schoolers who’d like to learn how to code and grow together.
I attend Fallon Middle School and have gone through several in-depth Python courses. Over time I’ve realized that if I’d started learning coding with other people, it would have kept me more engaged and interested, so I now want to help other beginners experience the same.
The group will meet online every other day for three weeks and go through structured Python content, and do multiple projects. Everyone, from beginners and up, is welcome to join.
For more information, please fill-up the interest form here.

At home fun volunteering:Making Cards/Letters for Seniors

Hi Everyone,
I have started and created a website called smilecard.org. It is an initiative to collect and organize cards and letters all in one place. From this website, senior centers and other places can download and print all the beautiful cards to hand over to someone who needs some cheer. Here is where you come in:). Please make ( or/and encourage kids to make) as many cards/letters you would like and upload it to this website. Anyone who makes and uploads 25 or more cards will get their picture and a small description put in on the website under “the contributors” section. So please, make some cards and upload them to smilecard.org to bring a smile on someone’s face. If everyone makes a couple of cards, we can all help the lonely, isolated seniors, by giving them some joy during this time and always as there is a huge need for this per the senior communities. Together we can make a difference!
Thank you,
Apara Sai
