Director should have qualifications to meet State Licensing requirement which is 12 units of Early Child Care Education and 3 unit of admin class.
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for supervising an assigned group of children, following the philosophy and standards of the school in conjunction with the Montessori Philosophies and Early Childhood Programs. Responsibilities include assisting with planning activities, supervising children, ensuring children’s safety and managing classroom environments. The Preschool Teacher is expected to appropriately communicate with children, staff and families, and is responsible for working cooperatively and productively with other staff.
Education and Training Requirements:
– 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required.
– Preschool Teaching experience is required.
– AA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
– Live Scan fingerprints clearance.
– Current TB test clearance.
– Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
– Provide previous Employer References.
