I’m looking for a nanny for my 19-mo old. We live in Danville close to the Diablo Vista park. The hours are flexible, preferably 9 am to 1 pm on weekdays. I’m seeking someone who is gentle, polite, patient, and affectionate. The work would involve playing with the kid, helping with mealtime, cleanup after kid, and setting up play activities. If cooking/cutting services can be provided that will be great too. We are South Indian, but wouldn’t mind other cuisines as long as the dish is healthy overall.

Looking for Home Meal Delivery Service in Danville, CA

A friend of mine who lives with her husband and two high school aged children in Danville has been faced with trauma. Her husband was in a hiking accident in Colorado and sustained serious injuries, including a spinal injury. She is in Colorado by his side, while friends and family in CA are trying to step in to help out with the kids.
The kids have food allergies, which makes going out to eat or just ordering “pick up food” challenging. We are looking to find a “personal chef” or someone who does home-based meal delivery to make a handful of meals each week to be delivered to their home so the kids can heat them up for dinner. Seeking Senior care giver for my 80+ year old mother who lives with us in East Dublin. Duties include tidying up (cleaning, vacuuming, Dish washing, folding cloths), preparing meals and clean up, bathing and toilet help, light walks within house, organizing. Must have a friendly demeanor, patience and kindness. We can discuss the number of hours per day.  Will be after 9:00 am most days. You must be already registered to work as an Alameda County IHSS (In Home Support Services) provider or  you should be willing to get certified to become a provider which is easy to do (takes about 1/2 day of listening to some training). The hourly rate is fixed by the state and county of Alameda – $15.75 per hr. Payment is made by the State of CA.  IHSS has subsidized medical insurance program for the service provider that you can make use of if needed.
