Hi Parents, Summer is fast approaching and Mind Craft Academy in (San Ramon)  is ready to roll out our summer program with Chess Camp with Guarang Mehta.
If you are looking for a fun and fulfilling summer camp for your kids, we have 2 options to offer.

Unlike other schools, we only hire Master level chess instructors to ensure an excellent learning experience.

USCF Rated Chess Tournament Every Saturday

Dear Parents, If you want your child to improve their chess skill. Here’s a good opportunities. Mind Craft Academy in San Ramon is hosting a chess tournament every Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30. Space is limited. Let me know if your kids are interested in participating.
We welcome all chess players from beginner to tournament levels. If you do not have an USCF ID, please sign up at the official United States Chess Federation web site. If you do not remember your USCF ID or if you are not sure if you have one, you can also go to the link to find out.

Chess Classes in San Ramon at King’s Land Chess

In January 2017, King’s Land Chess has relocated to San Ramon area from southern California. (www.kingslandchess.com)Small group chess classes are offering for youth players in Danville/San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton area. Four levels classes are available, Entry level, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Advanced I.

In over ten years, coach Kiki has trained 1000+ youth chess players in US and China. Her students have won numerous prizes in local, state, national and international chess tournaments, many students won champions and national champions. Dozens of students rank top 100 in different age-group US chess player lists. About a dozen students are qualified for US national team.

Free Chess Lesson with Chess Master Gaurang Mehta

Dear Parents, If your kids are interested in learning or improving their chess playing skills and you wish to be involved as a parent, here’s a great opportunity! Mind Craft Academy in San Ramon is hosting a complimentary chess lecture for kids and an informative orientation for parents this coming Sunday (9/18) from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
Chess instructor Guarang Mehta is a coach who has traveled to many World Chess Olympiad and World Chess Championships representing National Indian Teams. As a FIDE-rated 2120 (equivalent to USCF rating of 2000+) and international FIDE arbiter, he arrived in the U.S. in 2000 as the coach of the Indian Team with Grand Master Barua in the World Championship at Las Vegas. He has also traveled with many top Indian GMs like former World Champion Anand, Shashikiran, Harikrishnan to name a few.
He has a natural gift and patience in working with kids which has been proven through his students’ achievements. His students Alisha, Hiya, and Agunes, have qualified for Team USA in the World Youth Championships and Cameron Whiller took home the silver medal with a recent USCF rating of 2280. Furthermore, he has authored 2 books on chess playing.

Simultaneous display and Chess Lecture By Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky

Dear Parents, Do not miss this chess opportunity for your child! Cost is only $25 per child.
This chess lesson will be a unique opportunity for your child to play against famous International Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky. Daniel Naroditsky is an International Grandmaster, World Youth Under-12 Champion (2007), U.S. Junior Champion (2013), three-time U.S. Scholastic Champion. In 2014 Naroditsky tied for 1st–5th in the Millionaire Chess Open in Las Vegas, Nevada, participant of the USA chess championship finals.
Daniel is a member of the USA national chess team – played for the team USA on the world chess team championship in Armenia.
He is currently attending Stanford University as a member of the Class of 2019.
He will be coming to MindCraft Academy this Sunday 8/21 and will be playing Simultaneous Chess Play directly with your child and conducting a chess lecture exclusively for MindCraft Academy! The player who lasts the longest will be awarded a signed copy of Naroditsky’s autobiographical book. The winner will also be awarded a signed copy of his book.
